Alex Kopytko is a ”radical centrist” that wants to understand the extremes. He has worked in politics and has studied public policy and political science. Alex argues that centrism is less about being a contrarian, it is about being able to change your mind and embrace an openness to new ideas. He is concerned about where the United States is headed and through conversations with people from all sides of the political spectrum, he wants to know how Americans can limit the tribalism that is flourishing. As someone that dances along the center-right of the political spectrum, Alex thinks the country needs to come together and talk to one another before it could be too late. This podcast covers domestic politics, as well as political philosophy, and international issues.

In this episode, Alex goes over the primaries and how the results have been a mixed bag for the future. He goes over why it is great that Fetterman won the Democratic Primary in Pennsylvania and why it does not matter if Memet Oz or David McCormick wins the Republican Primary because both are frauds. However, Doug Mastriano, a QANON believing, January 6th involved state senator won the Pennsylvania governor primary for the GOP. Then Alex celebrates Madison Cawthorn’s defeat in North Carolina and cries over how Ted Budd, backed by Trump, won North Carolina’s Republican Senate primary. Alex concludes the episode by discussing why Ted Cruz is a brilliant, methodical ass. NPR notes that “The U.S. Supreme Court's conservative majority sided with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday, ruling that a federal ban on outsiders repaying a candidate's campaign loan to himself after an election violates the constitutional guarantee of free speech.” Ted Cruz saw a whole that exposed the 2002 McCain-Feingold Act and now multimillionaires will have more power in campaign finance. In Justice Kagan’s dissent, she notes that “The only loser is the public, which inevitably suffers from government corruption."
