Alex Kopytko is a ”radical centrist” that wants to understand the extremes. He has worked in politics and has studied public policy and political science. Alex argues that centrism is less about being a contrarian, it is about being able to change your mind and embrace an openness to new ideas. He is concerned about where the United States is headed and through conversations with people from all sides of the political spectrum, he wants to know how Americans can limit the tribalism that is flourishing. As someone that dances along the center-right of the political spectrum, Alex thinks the country needs to come together and talk to one another before it could be too late. This podcast covers domestic politics, as well as political philosophy, and international issues.

In this episode, Alex starts by going over a recent rant from the right-wing podcaster Steven Crowder. Crowder seems to imply that he does not support no-fault divorce laws and Alex worries that no-fault laws may be the next target in the right’s culture war. Next, Alex looks into a recent drone attack that occurred outside the Kremlin. Russia has blamed the United States and Ukraine, it also is now looking to escalate the conflict and wants to eliminate the Kyiv government. Alex argues that this was likely a false flag event and gives reasons why Russia would do this. Finally, Alex looks into a recent trend of regional bank failures and discusses whether this is a worrying trend or just a phenomenon happening to a few outliers. Also, as the debt ceiling crisis looms, Alex worries that the Democrats and Republicans are playing with fire.

In this episode, Alex is happy that Kevin McCarthy defended Ukraine during a press conference in Ukraine. This tells Alex that there is some hope. Next, Alex looks at how CNN will be holding a town hall with Donald Trump next week. It seems like the media did not learn from past failures and is willing to give Trump airtime. Alex worries that it is looking like 2016 all over again. Normalizing Trump is dangerous and it will help him. Finally, Alex rants about Governor Greg Abbott’s vile comments after a tragedy in which a family of five was shot outside their home in Texas. Abbott focused on the immigration status of the victims in a vile attempt to inject politics into the tragedy.

In this episode, Alex starts by playing the RNC attack ad on President Biden that was completely generated with artificial intelligence. He quotes sources that worry that by the 2024 election, artificial intelligence will heavily impact the results and how people vote. Next, Alex looks into Nikki Haley’s recent shots at Ron DeSantis that revolve around Disney. Haley says that Disney should just move to South Carolina because it would be more than welcome there. Later, Alex talks about Mike Pence testifying before the grand jury for the 2020 election chaos. The special counsel, led by Jack Smith, appears to be coming to an end. Finally, Alex looks into recent Chinese initiatives that look to bring harmony, regional diplomacy, and economic cooperation to different parts of the world. Alex worries that China hopes to challenge the west and is looking to push its “civilizational society” on liberal parts of the world.

In this episode, Alex talks about word salads, Tucker Carlson’s martyrdom, why a third party could spoil democracy, and how an ex-Fugees rapper was involved in a multi-national conspiracy.
- Alex starts by covering two recent word salads produced by key political figures. One salad was made by Kamala Harris who again tried to give a philisophical speech about the moment we are living in, and instead confused everyone. The second salad was made by Tucker Carlson who finally spoke out after his ousting at Fox News. After a few days of reflection, Alex discusses why he thinks the firing of Fox News was a bad idea both politically and financially for Fox News.
- Next, Alex analyzes Biden’s announcement to run for reelection in 2024 and why he thinks Biden could beat Trump. However, Alex worries that “No Labels” a third party option could prove to be a spoiler for Democrats and democracy, because the group has made unfair comparisons to Trump and Biden. Because there are more moderates remaining in the Democratic Party, Alex argues that “No Labels” would just take votes from Biden.
- Finally, the former-rapper, Pras Michel, was found guilty in an international influence case. The case sounds like a political thriller involving Malyasia, China, and the United States. The scheme tried to influnce two presidential administrations (Trump and Obama) and it involved testimonies from Leonardo DiCaprio and Jeff Sessions.

In this episode, Alex starts with an update on the chaos going on in Sudan; recent reports show that the Wagner Group has been highly involved with helping the paramilitary fight the military. Next on the episode, Alex is excited to announce that both Fox News and CNN had chaotic days. First, Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News; Alex argues that Tucker was fired as the sacrifical lamb for all of Fox’s current issues. Second, Don Lemon was fired from CNN and he is not happy. Alex thinks that Tucker will do just fine without Fox; however, Lemon is likely done. Finally, Alex talks about AI generated songs, how AI generated music may involve the uncanny valley of audio, and why there are many issues with this form of “music.”

In this Saturday episode, Alex catches up on some topics he could not get to during the week. He starts by going through an odd video that Marco Rubio (Little Marco) put out on Twitter. Rubio seems to blame others for his own state’s fuel crisis and says that “they” are not doing enough. Next, Alex argues that governors should focus on the issues in their own states instead of nationalizing their issues and going on political rhetoric tours. He notes that Governor Gavin Newsom should focus on using his supermajority in California to solve the state’s many issues. Instead, Newsom has been going around the country attacking Republican states where he has no influence. Later, Alex goes into the moral dilemmas that many Americans feel about gun ownership in a heavily armed society. Finally, Alex argues that centrists are misunderstood. As a centrist himself, he argues that centrism is not a political ideology that is a midpoint between two extremes. Instead, centrism is more of a practical way to engage in politics and use nuance and pragmatism to be open-minded.

In this episode, Alex covers a range of topics that focus on domestic politics. First, he looks into Ron DeSantis’ new battle with Disney, and why he is once again losing it. Alex also looks into how donors and Republicans in Congress are turning on DeSantis and going towards Trump or even people like Glenn Youngkin. It seems like DeSantis has a real problem as many donors find his recent actions to be too radical and divisive. Alex argues that DeSantis needed to be an establishment alternative to Trump, not a more extreme version. Next, Alex responds to the breaking news around the Supreme Court protecting access to mifepristone, a widely used abortion drug. Later, Alex looks into a racist, violent, and unsettling recording that was leaked in Oklahoma. The recording features a sheriff, deputies, and a county commissioner. The recording includes plans to attack a local newspaper, plans to threaten a district attorney, and it features the public officials reflecting on the days when public lynchings were acceptable. Finally, Alex reflects on the culture of paranoia and rage that has made no one safe from gun violence in the United States.

In this episode, Alex starts by discussing his concerns around Trump running AGAIN in 2028. He goes through different opinions around this issue and why it makes sense since Trump is morally corrupt, struggles to move on after losses, and has nothing better to do. Alex also notes that the Republicans should have convicted him during the impeachment back in 2021. Next, it looks like Robert Kennedy Jr. is running for president on the Democratic side. Alex discusses why he is saddened about RFK Jr.’s fall from grace, why his vaccine views are dangerous, and why he is more appealing to the right than the left. Finally, Alex finally shares his thoughts on Dianne Feinstein and why it is insane that Senate Democrats are defending her and turning criticism towards her remaining in the senate into attacks on her gender and age.

In this episode, Alex starts by going through Tucker Carlson’s new interview with Elon Musk. He focuses on the parts about artificial intelligence and how Elon Musk has plans to create a more open and uncensored AI Chatbot. Next, Alex is somewhat disappointed to learn that Fox News has settled its defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. Fox News has already lost credibility and its reputation is in shambles; however, Alex wishes that people like Tucker Carlson had to testify under oath. Finally, Alex dives into the recent violence and devastation in Sudan as two militarized factions are fighting over power.

In this episode, Alex focuses on three of the different people (likely) running against Donald Trump for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. He looks at how Tim Scott has announced his exploration campaign to consider running for president. Alex thinks that Scott could never win and is merely trying out to be Trump’s VP. He then looks at how Nikki Haley is killing it at fundraising so far and is effectively appealing to women; Haley also is chipping away at DeSantis support and is starting to attack Trump. Alex also looks at how Ron DeSantis has been influential in passing another controversial bill, this time it is a radical anti-immigration bill that will send shockwaves of fear through the migrant community. The bill is similar to the abortion ban and the “Don’t Say Gay” bill as it limits freedoms and targets citizens in the process. Alex wonders why DeSantis is trying to pass these messaging bills.
